Help Us Create Our Community Quilt of America! What does America mean to you? The Monroe City Public Library invites everyone in our community—kids, teens, adults, and seniors—to help us create a beautiful Community Quilt of America! ❤️🤍💙 Stop by the library to pick up a quilt square and decorate it with drawings, colors, words, or symbols that represent America to you. Your design might celebrate: ⭐ Freedom 🦅 Patriotism 🏡 Your hometown 🌻 Nature 🎆 Family traditions 🌈 Your dreams for America's future ...or anything else that makes you think of our country! You can: 🖍️ Decorate your square while you're at the library, or 🏠 Take it home and return it when you're finished. When all of the squares are complete, we'll combine them into one amazing Community Quilt of America to display at the library—a colorful reminder of the unique perspectives and creativity of our community as we celebrate America's 250th birthday! No artistic experience is needed—just bring your imagination!
