Get a Library Patron Number

How do I get a Library Patron Number?

To get your patron number, you must show a picture identification and proof of current address. A driver’s license or state ID with your current local address is the most common identification/proof of address. Present your identification to the circulation desk and a patron number will be issued. This number will allow a patron to check out books and access online material. A parent or guardian must sign the card application for individuals under 18 years of age. Parents or guardians must show valid identification and be a Monroe City Library Patron in good standing.
