Get a Library Patron Number

Patron numbers are issued free of charge to residents of the Monroe City School District. You may purchase a non-resident library membership for $50 if you live outside the school district. To get your patron number, you must show a picture identification and proof of current address. A driver’s license or state ID with your current local address is the most common identification/proof of address. Present your identification to the circulation desk and a patron number will be issued. This number will allow a patron to check out books and access online material. A parent or guardian must sign the card application for individuals under 18 years of age. Parents or guardians must show valid identification and be a Monroe City Library Patron in good standing.
